Everybody seems to be pleased at the outcome of the case, because it is not thought that there has Ijeen any overt act committed. The ju rymen visited and examined the lit tle brook into which sawdust is al leged to have been dumped and then carried into the Clackamas river, and after all the evidence and argu ments had been listened to they re turned a verdict in favor of Mr. Dubois. Several from here went over and gave testimony in the trial and the case will cost about $130. Deputy Game Warden C. Sclieubel prosecuted the case, and George C. Brownell defended Mr. Dubois. I. M.
