Just four years ago a destructive fire swept through here. A great difference. The fire brought sorrow and fear. The rain pleased the majority. Four years ago many of the farmers near here last about everything they hud of worldly effects. Homes and barns, orchards and fences, grt in and feed passed away in flames. The loss wus great. But a stranger passing ESTACADA Is going to grow this coming summer m o r e rapidly than ever before. T h e great Electric Pow er Plant, costing over $1,000,000.00 will b e completed, a large saw mill will be built, and logs will be floated down the Clackamas from miles above.
