The name of Ralph W Hoyt was
omitted from the list of those we
published last week who are run
ning for the nomination of state
treasurer on the republican ticket.
It was an inadvertent error.
Mr.
Hoyt is a resident of Portland, and
is cashier of the Merchants National
Bank.
He was treasurer of Mult
nomah county for two terms, and
is well fitted for the place to which
he aspires.
The city council had a quiet meet
ing Tuesday evening.
