The part tuken by Webster is that of the villain and s he is acclaimed es be ing one of the bent actors in that line, his rendition of the heavy part In tho picture may bo taken for o great worth. Webster la the running mnte of the great McKIm, said to be tho very best heavy in pictures, and who was associated with him during thn plcturclzatlon of the great north ern story. Manager Matthews of the local theatre made a ten-strike when he booked "North of Nome,," with Webster in person. In the charact er of "Qulg Lannlgan" Webster hlncs among his fellow actors. The wind blew a gale and came f mm all directions, besides the mopn was full, which is an augury of poor fishing conditions.
