The time when men are supposed to forget animosities, pettey differ ences and to extend the hand of friendship to all others. It i-: a time made holy by the birth of the one who pave his life that mankind might be freed from sin, and who taug-ht that peace on earth good will to roan was a maxim that should be followed through life. Christms time is the holiest time of the whole year. At that time we are reminded that the hereafter is approaching and it i. then the most of us review our past lives and strive to learn just how much we have follo ved the teachings of the Redeemer. At Christmas time our hearts are opened and our purse strings loosened. Our near ami dear ones are remebcrcd by gifts commemorative of the time, and then those who have not been able to provide for their own are given a thought more substantial than otherwise. The spirit of Christina is abroad .in the land, and The Times, along with all others extends the wish that peace and good will be spread bout and that all will meet with none but the blessings of the time. According to newspaper reports the flu epidemic reaches from coa t to coast and is also hitting other places. As compared with the epi demic of 1918-19 but comparatively few cases have proven fatal, but at that the few who have succumbed could illy be spared from among our population.
