Dufur Saturday where he has
been working in the harvest
field.

Base Ball
The last baseball game at
home for the season was witness
ed last Sunday by one of the
largest congregations of baseball
fans ever assembled on the local
field.
The game was played between
teams from Antelope and Maupin
and resulted in an 8 to 6 score in
favor of the home team.
Each side made some costly
errors, letting in some unearned
runs. The Maupin team showed
superior playing all through the
game.
Dr. Stovall leaves next Sun
day with his team for Pineville
to play in a four game series
during the 4th of July celebra
tion held at that place. The
main feature for the big July 4th
entertainment is a ball game be
tween the Maupin boys and a
Semi-Pro team from Portland.
The "game at Prineville will
close the baseball schedule for
this season.
