Ben Lyon, who in less than two
years has emerged from obscurity
to high screen popularity, is con
sidered the real successor to Wally
Reid as a portrayer of exuberant
youth.
In "The Pace That Thrills," Ben
is co-featured with Mary Astor ln
a lively, rnpid-iire comedy-drama
which centers around the romance
of a Hollywood sheik and the
daughter of a film producer.

One of the ' most thrilling Mo
ments in one of the most thrilling
melodramatic photoplays produced
th s season, is that in "The Wed
ding Song," when Rosa Rudaml,
as an island girl, in a fit of Jealous
rage, attempts to kill Leatrice Joy,
star and heroine of the picture.
Her purpose is frustrated by Robert
Ames, the hero, for the time being,
but later well, it would be unfair
to tell tho entire story of "The
Wedding Song" which will be the

Joy has the role of a girl associate
of crooks who seek to rob Hayes

to the Rex theatre Monday and
Tuesday, Irene Rich( appears as a
millionaire business 'woman. Eve
'Burnslde. Her proud independence
and her powerful personality have
made her, at thirty, a dominating
influence In the steel industry.
Bert Lytcll appears opposite Miss
Rich in the role of the baron and
others in the cast aro Clara Bow,
