the Alps as the proving ground, has
demonstrated that the new Ford
could be operated for a long con
tinuous period over abrupt, steep
hills, without lifting the hood. Re
ports of the test have Just been re
ceived by the Ford Motor company.

virtually all of that time the car

throughout the New England states
to replace those units of the textile
industry which have removed to the
south, while there appears to be a
general revival of the shoe Industry,

year, which was 60 per cent greats
