In the buying list, extras are quoted still at 35 cents, the standards still at 82 cents, the firsts still at 30 centa, but extra mediums are down to 28 cents, a drop of two cents, first mediums are down to 26 cents, a drop of three cents; and pewees are quoted now at 22 cent, also a decline of two centa. In the wholesale quotations me diums dropped two cents to 32 cents. Firsts continue at 86 cents and ex tras at 37 cents. Aside from the egg prices, no other changes were reported in produce markets here Tuesday, all poultry re maining the same. HOGS UP AGAIN Bogs are up a trifle again, follow ing a small droo here last week. Lire hogs are quoted at 8 to 8.65 and the dressed hogs at 11 and llVcenta, Other local livestock quotations were the same. BUTTER UNCHANGED All prices on butter and butterfat were the same as for the week-end in quotations given out by local creameries. Hena over 41! oounds held firm at the one price of 25 centa. Me dium hena sold at 22 cents. Lighter hens were quoted at 18 centa. Springs were readily disposed at 23 centa. Standard eggs were unshakable at 45 cents, while mediums declined two cents for eitras and 80 centa for firsts. Potatoes were reported scarcer be cause of the cold weather, and this baa served to strengthen the market. Lacal cranberriea have been ex hausted. Seattle and Los Angeles ber ries are selling at $7.25 for one-third parrel noxes. Caulitlower points up ward at $1.65 to $1.75 a crate. Swanson, Mrs. Harold Flood Prevention Discussed Tuesday For the purpose of discussing ways and means of flood control on the Willamette river in the Weat Spring field district, a delegation f Weat Knrimfi.M resident mat with the county court in Eugene Tuesday at 2 p. m. Suggeationa which have been offered to aolve the question of the yearly flood in this district were dis cussed, with particular reference to the area between Judklna Point and McVeigh point. A petition asking the county court to undertake the coat of preliminary aurvcya for the proposed construction of flood levees was recently filed with the court. No action has aa yet been taken by the court, but due to the cost of the Burveys it waa thought that the matter Bhould be taken up by the state engineer. The approach to the beach south of Waldport waa blocked with loga which had been washed In by a very high tide Christmaa eve delaying tourists for several hours. A crew of men together with the aid of a wrecker and team cleared a way through the jam of loga so that cara were able to get through aafel,.
