The contest opens June 18 and will M held. at the McDonald theater. The lesion ia to receive a certain nArcent- age of all tlcketa sold at the theater during the contest, whicn runs two weeks, to help in defraying expenses of the celebration. Each ticket bought at the theater ouring tne two weeks wiu entitle the purchaaer to a vote for one of the - candidates to be named. Miss Irene Snere of Creswell and Elmer Williams of Garfield, Kansas, were married at Rawlins. Wyo., Tues day, June 12. Miss Snere Is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Snere this place, and was very popu lar among her many friends. She was a school teacher a number of 8 earn and taught in various acfaoola of ia state.
