Charles H. Ebbets Dies in New York NEW YORK. April 18. Charles H. KbbeH, president of the Brooklyn National league baseball club, died here at 0 o'clock this morning, lie was 66 years old. Death came quietly. Mr. Ebbeta had fallen Into a deep sleep at 11 o'clock last night and did not wake during the night. No one was at the bedside at the time of his death, but a f;w minutes after he had died the nurse attending him entered the room.
