STATE BINS IDLE TOLD BWT01EY , Several changes in the state sol dier bonus law were made by legis lative action of the last legislature and attention is being called to these by Colonel J. M. Williams,' attorney for the state bonus board in Lane county. One provision is that any former Rervice man who accepted the cash bonus when the law first went into effect may chnnge and now obtain the loan by returning the cash. This plan will be in effect until June 30, 11120. The. loan privileges of the bonus Inw have been extended to the vet erans of the Spanish war for all who served more than 00 days during this period. .Colonel Williams estimates that there are about 30 veterans of the Spanish war in Lone county who are eligible for the loan. Another change provides that the bonus law applies to all veterans who were in the army June 3,1015 and whose period of reserve service ex tended over to the World war period when they were called to active serv ice. ; All these changes take effect May 20-this year, Colonel Williams states.. About 2.0 loans have been made in Lane county so. far, the colonel reports. Gertrude Hill to Take Part in Plan OHEGOX AGRICULTURAL COL LEGE, Corvnllis, March 13. (Spe cial).
