On arrival at the capi tol, the president goes to his room to sigh last minute legislation, and the vice-president goes to the vice president's room. 31:30 a. m. iSennte recesses until 11:15 a. m. House adjourns sine die. 11:45 a. m. President and vice-president-elect, house members and distinguished guests take places In senate chamber. 31:50 a. m. Oath Is administered to vice-president-elect. Retiring president Cummins of the senate makes brief address. Senate adjourns Bine die. Noon Xew vice-president calls new senate to order and delivers his inaugural address. New senators are sworn in. 32:30 p. m. Entire official party moves out to the inaugural platform on the capitol plaza, where President Coolidge takes the oath and delivers his inaugural address. 1 p. m. President, accompanied by cavalry and court, returns to White House for buffet luncheon. 1.30 p. m. President takes his place in reviewing standing in front of the White House to witness the passing of the inaugural parade, oc cupying about an hour, and bringing the official program to a close. Thirty I nine applications for loans under the '$1,500,000 fanners relief act of the recent legislature that have so fai been approved total $36,000, accord ing to an announcement by the board hue yesterday. Applications received to date number 204. The board of con trol which has the administration of tie act believes the appropriation will easily cover all of the needs of the farmers for the reseeding of lands where the wheat crop was frozen out during the winter. The board appoints in each county where loans are made a committee which must give ibs approval to an application before a loan on the ap plication is granted. The Turkish cabinet, formed last November, with Fethi Bey as prem ier, was recently confronted with a serious situation due to the outbreak of a rebellion in Kurdistan. The rebels, under Sheik Said, not only de manded automy for their country, but announced their determination to re store the caliphate, abolished by the Angora government.
