Pago Eight I Through the kimlnons of Ken Abies of the Lane Auto company; K. C. and L. K. Simmnnn of tlio Ford company, and John Starke, inunnKer of the automobile how tho Uiiivi!rnity of Oregon bnskethall team will have the use of the armory floor for practice fur it nme Friday against toe Ure- iron AineieH. Thi-HC two companies huve their displays in the fjyra for this week' ntifn how but they have promised to clear the floor just be fore practice today. It will be more difficult to move the ems tomorrow because of addt tioniil displays, so they . will have only one-half of the floor clear. The playrrK can practice shooting fouls, after holding regular practice in the iiien'H gynui. Tho Wcbfootors are weak in tthooting fouls and need all the practice they can get. The retire floor will be cleared Thursday niit for the important clash with the Aggies the following night. To remain in the running Ore gon needs the Aggies' scalp. Other- iflc, the .Webfootere will have to win their three road games, and then they will only be tied with the Aggies for the lead. A victory for 'the locals will put them in Hue for the title. It is not expected that Washington state will bo very dangerous on their home court, but Idaho and Washington, playing on their own floor, will have a decided advantage over the visiting Oregonlans, who will have to play four games In six days. Coach Iteinhart's chief object Is to develop dependable substitutes. Ore gon has a fine team, but as soon as one of the players, and especially a forward, is yanked, the whole team work seems to waver. If Iteiuhart can develop at least one moro dependable forward, the Oregonlans will have a fine chance to gain tho conference championship. , , ' AID 0. A. C.
