Nicholas Ivorson of New York committed suicide by going over tho American Falls today. He left a note on the river bunk reading: "God and evoryone forgive- me, for I, Nicholas Ivorson, know not where I go or what I. do." , NEW YORK, Jan. 28. Nicholas Iverson, who committed , suicide at Niagara Falls today was em ployed as a traveling salesman by the Electric Storage Eattory com pany. He had been in ill health. Iverson was a graduate of the naval academy at Annapolis, his friends said, and gervnu In the navy during the World war. He was about C!i yours old and unmarried. O. Wilson, man ager. The tract is a few blocks north of tbe present location of the plant, and is near the Anderson Manufac turing corporation and tbe Spring field Lumber corporation, so. the plant will be able to use tbe same Southern Pacific railway spur for shipping out products. A switch will be installed, according to Mr. Wilson, and part of the old equipment moved to the new plant. Alex Bankevitz, brilliant young Russian tenor, who was featured by the Morning, Oregonian on its raido program January 17, will sing at tomorrow's luncheon at the chamber of commerce, it was, annonccd today. Mr. Bankevitz, who is touring the Pa cific northwest in concert engage ments, has been engaged by the Rex theater to sing during the coming week. He Is a protege of the noted Russian artist and pedagogue, Vas ilii Matreef. "Bankevitz has a voice that is big and fine and well-trained," said the Oregonian. The songs he is to sing will be divided equally between Rus sian classics and popular American songs. Mayor E. B. Parks will be the chief speaker at the luncheon, telling of the league ot Oregon cities, of which he is tho newly-elected vice president. Court Will Decide On Route Project Contracts for bond project number eight and tbe North Fork market road will probably be the first to be let for road work this year, accord ing to county officials. Other road projects for the county during 1925 will be discussed by the court this afternoon. The roads to be Improved by the county crews and those to be let on contrsct will be decided at this time, it is announced. Fifteen thou sand dollars is 'available for the North Fork market road, ljond pro ject eight has $311,031.10 remaining but it is not probable that all of this will be used.
