The title ot Gloria Swanaon's
latest picture, that is showing at
toe Rex, itself intrigues the im
agination and arouses an all-consuming
desire to see what it's all
about. "Manhandled" is the

new starring vehicle and the ev
er-gorgeous Miss Swanson proves
conclusively that she is one of the
moBt versatile stars of the pic
ture world.
In the story Gloria has the role
of a shop girl, who climbs the
social ladder, getting furs, ex
pensive Jewelry, and everything,
but after reaching dangerous
heights finds out that honest love
is best in the long run.
The flnnl showing of "Man
handled" will be the event of in

Carey's Portrayal
Always Convincing
Harry Carey is the most human
two-gun man on the screen!
If there (had been any doubt
about it before, he proved it to
everyones complete satisfaction
at the Castlo today, where his
new picture, "Tiger Thompson,1
opened a two' days' engagement.
Tiger Thompson" has all the
action, 'drama, thrills and spirit
of the great outdoors" that ad
mirers of the WeBtern screen love,
DUt it also nas something more
a note ot realism, of downright
humanness that few pictures of
this type possess.
