Moody, local optometrist, at 881 .Willamette street. Extensive al terations involving an expendi ture of several thousand dollars were made.recently and mahog any fixtures and furniture were installed, giving most attractive appointments. T.he offices, the arrangement of which is shown in the accom panying photograph, have a depth of 120 feet. The rear half is used for a shop, which is com pletely equipped with machinery for lens grinding. There are two examination rooms, which are fully equipped with the lat est refraction instruments. The waiting and fitting rooms are combined. Dr. Moody is justly proud of his establishment and doubts if many equal to it can be found in other cities with a population of 13,000. He says that his estab lishment represents an invest ment of $25,000, which does not include $16,000 which he has spent in advertising during the past eight years. Notwithstand ing that Eugene and Lane coun ty have only increased about 25 per cent in population during the past eight years, Dr. Moody's practice has increased about six times over that of his predeces sor.
