"Watchful waiting" was the altitude of Monterey authorities unci citizenry today following the expulsion from the city last night of two men who professed to be organizes for the Ku Klux Klan. Botli men, who gave the names of George A. J'uterbaugh and H. E. I'nl iner, avowed they would return with help, "legal and otherwise." The men were arrested late yesterday when they entered the city and announc ed their plan to form a chapter of the aiun. Chief of Police' Cording, acting under onlerH from 'the police commissioner, im mediately arrested both men on charges of vagrancy and ordered them to leave town. Last night they were escorted to the city limits and told not to return.
