Favored by weather conditions it a populous and product Ivn county like l.ane. There were too few in attemltmre it ml too few exhibitors. The exhibits were uniformly excellent but anyone who knows the farms and orihtirds ami herdx of l-dinc county knows that they were tit reallv representative and that in mot departments the oompet1' ion that makes blue ribbons worth whue was ab sent. ALL TIMS can he remedied only when ome few men take a year from oilier : ntereKts and do p.n infinite amount of J preliminary work which must amount to almost a home to home canvas of the ounty. They will need to be aln men , f nerve who will take a chance on ummie and new features with the atten dant expense. Finally, when they are sure they have the Roods to present a reat fair, they must advertise. Nome such group of men will do all that some of these days. Their reward will be tho consciousness of achievement.
