The president would be encouraged to cail on 'mien governments iih he deem necessary to send representatives ro conference which would be eh a r Red with the duty ol considering tbe economic problems of the world with u view to res t oral ion of trade and the establishment of sound financial and business condi tions," Borub'a amendment suited. No mention is made of what countries sioiild be invited or where the conference might be held. The Borah amendment al mi embodies the provisions of tbe appro priation bill which specifies tliut the ex wutives should call a new- arms limita tion conference to take up the matters of laud, (tea and aircraft armament "wim i view to reaching under landings rela tive to limit in future construction." Borah asked that the amendment iie on the table and that it be taken up when the nuvul bill is considered pos sibly tomorrow.
