Wheat prices had a downward tendency today influenced by bearish estimates of the spring crop yield. According to ono authority, the production lu the Dnkolns and Minnesota this season will he 100,000,000 bushels sgalnst 88,000,000 bushels in 1010. Open ing quotations, which ranged from 1 to 8 cents lower with July at $2.30 and Sep tember at $2.07 wore followed by a alight rally and then a fresh downturn. The market remained depressed during the remainder of the day. Ohio expects the largest yield ever known in that state. The close was steady l-2o to 2c net lower with July at $2.31 and Sep tember at $2.07 1-2. Warm weather made the com marks weak. After opeuiug unchanged to IVi lower, prices underwent a moderate fur ther setback and thcu recovered some what.
