AUTOS CAN'T HAVE THEIR OLD NUMBER Attorney-General's Office Says Secretary Must Allot by Application . -I Jf 4 "Ml Bissell & Barker Furniturjc Company 52f p&2e4St,ee' Salem, Or., Nov. 21. Automobile owneru will not be able to re tain their registration numbers from year to year unless by chance, as the ' law provides for giving them num bers as thflr applications came in, regardless of the numbers they car ried before. This is the substance of an opinion given to Secretary of Slate Olcott by tho attorney-general's office. The ruling will be disappointing to hundreds of auto owners throughout i A the state, who seem to have especial ly strong desires to retain the same numbers. It Is evident that the ques tion of repainting numbers on lamps as well as the desire of automobile owners was not considered by the legislature. Just think how attractive you can make your Thanksgiving ta ble with one of these sets, You will find every article in this Store reasonably low priced.
