To whom it may concern: We, the undersigned licensed and practicing physicians of the city of Eugene, I.ano county, Oregon, having made a completa and thorough post mortem examination of the body of Mr. Samuel M. Douglas, find that tho cause of death was "acute card lac dllltatlou." An examination of the variouB organs of tho body re vealed the following conditions: The brain nnd its members were in a normnl condition. The apices of both lungs showed limited tubercular doposlts. The left kidney nnd loft Buprn-rennl capsule were also tuber culous. The stomach was diluted. Tho sigmoid and descending colon were very much reduced in size, probably con gen it ally.
