Charged with Assault On
a Twelve-Year-Old Girl

bead, ln having been bound over to
the circuit court this forenoon by
Justice of the Peace Bryion.
Patison, who is used between mi
and Til years, was arrested at Junc
tion City by the constable there yes
terday on complaint of a twelve-year-old
girl residing there, charging him
with criminally assaulting her. The
arrest was made after Deputy Dis
trict Attorney Sklrwortih had made
an investigation of the case.
Patison was brought to ISugene
last night and lodged in the county
jail. He was arraigned in the justice
court this morning and waived exam
ination. He was bound over to the
circuit court with bonds fixed at
$1,00(1. which he has not yel secured
and is still in jail. His case will come
: up for trial at the March term of
court.
