The principal topic of dis cussion was that of raising the bonus ror the extension of the street rail way line out Willamette street around College Hill and entering the city again by way of Oregon avenue and joining the main line again at Eleventh and Willamette streets. The sense of the meeting was that the full amount -of the bonus can bo raised and some thought it could be secured by the first of the new year. A committee was named to interview the city council in regard to dredging Amazon creek, asking that a drainage district be established within the city. Manager Dobie, of the University of Oregon 1910 "Oregonia," is solic iting among the merchants for ad vertising for this publicaion.
