Several cases were stolen from the rear porch at the residence of Guy E. Metcalf, at 813 High street, some time last night. The goods were missed this morning and the police officers notified. Chief Farrlngton has been working on the case and hopes to be able to appre hend the culprit. The goods taken were as follows: Two cases of peach es, two-thirds of a case of apricots, a half case of string beans and one case of tomatoes.
