The hops offered for sale, however, were mainly the lower grades, for which there has lieen hut little de mand at any time this soanon. Choice grades of hops, at least those In the possession of growers, are not being pressed for sale, though It la said that some dealers, having this quality on hand, are trying to find buyers for their stocks. McNeff Bros, were heavy pur chasers during the day. but so far as could be learned little business was transacted at tho other offices.
