This will be good news to users of electric lights and power In Kugone. All during last winter the lights were out at various times nearly each evo- nms and already this winter the per formance has been repeated numer ous times, but the company promises that when these Improvements are completed there will be no cause for complaint except in case of a bad accident. The game will probably simmer down to whether or mil the Oregon men are equal to the Washington In strength or In shiftiness. They say they have a hard fight. At tho same time they havo expressed them selves as afraid of Moullen's foot, and calculate to make as many touchdowns as Moullpn does place kicks. There Is a slight change In tho op ening lineup of the Oregon team. Mnln has been drawn to .half, and Sullivnn will take the other back po sition with Fullback Clarke. New ton, who tips the beam at 200, will go In at right guard, for tho first time. The Washington team came In this afternoon accompanied by about twenty enthuslnsts. Thoy appear to be a husky lot of fellows and in fairly good shape. Washington Kingcrs. Much has been said lately of Mucklestone and E.ikln, the first a right half, the other, loft tackle. It Is claimed that the men are Ineligible under the conference rules. Tho University feels that tile Ore gon team Is Imposed upon by the presence of the two men In the line up, but as each faculty Is Its own Judge, thoy can do nothing but play the aggregation,' whether the two men are ringers or not. It is known that the two men played last year at the North Dnkota Agricultural College and had the standing of freshmen there. Univer sity students from the same college and class knew them both. Coach Korbes stated today, that his team would be sportsmanlike, nnd play with the men In the line-up. oven though they fo.lt thnt Washington Wtl lUH living up to tne rules. The ln,v I!"
