On Saturday forenoon the committees oppointed visited these sites and selected the tract on Fifth street just back of James llenson's residence, as the most convenient and most desirable site for holding the fair, and lumber Is being placed on the ground rapidly for the necessary sheds and buildings, 40.0ml feet having been generously donated by nearby sawmills to be used for this purpose. The fair site Is well ele vated, well drained, and comprises something over two acres of ground and is only five blocks from the post office. digger Thing Than Anliciputeil The committees, to their surprise, have already discovered the fact that this proposed harvest fair is myste riously developing Into a far bigger tiling than was anticipated and that they had taken hold of a pretty big proposition, and they find themselves not unlike the Irishman who caught the bear, and wanted to, but dared not "let go."
