AMUSEMENTS Grace Cameron in "Dollic llinple" A performance as pure and whole some as can be produced, yet really funny and intensely dramatic, Is surely an innovation for a musical performance, nevertheless such Is the big musical drama, "Little Dollle Dimples," which the dainty comic op era star, Grace Cameron, has chosen to present to Eugene theatre patrons Thursday and Friday, August 27 and 28. A good, consistent story with a nure and wholesome plot and refined comedy situations, with unique char acter drawings, is something rare in these days of nonsensical entertain ments. Miss Cameron is not alone in the amusement making of "Little Dollle Dlmbples," for she has been surrounded bv what is probably the strongest cast of players which has been In this city this season, air. The celebrated actress por trnvs the role of Auntie Dunn In a careful and painstaking manner, and gives a delightful Impersonation of the stingv old maid with a double nature, one for company mid the oth er at home. Roger Grey plays the role of a pettifogging lawyer who imagines he is the one and only in telligent lawyer on earth, and Daisy King wears some stunning gowns and sings brilliantly as the adventuress, Mavme Creen. incidental to the play are Intro duced, the great musical specialty or the Schubert Musical hour, also the Elm Cltv Quartet and Eva Spear, the human flute of whistler.
