PHILIPINE VETERANS MEET IN REUNION Galesburg, 111., Aug. 13. The free dom of the city was given today to the host of visitors who rallied here for the national convention and re union of the Veterans of the army of the Philippines. The morning trains brought In many delegates from Illi nois, Minnesota, the Dakotas, Colo rado, Oregon. California "and other states. The visitors found the busi ness district elaborately decorated In their honor. This afternoon there was a public reception and tonight the formal opening of the gathering takes place. Mayor Shumway will de liver the address of welcome and Cap tain Crow, of Pennsylvania, will re spond for the visitors.
