completing the Kast Klvventh street
contract over two weeks ago the
dope crew nnd mixing plant have
been Idle until thla morning, when
the work of paving Oak street be
tween Kuat Seventh and Knat Ninth
was commenced. After Oak street Is
finished up Ollvii alreet will he
worked on. nml then come the short
stretches on West Tenth and West
Klevellth streets. The city council
has ordered the park streets paved,
and they will coino next. It Is not
known whether or not nuy more pav
ing, aside from that mentioned, will
be done thla summer, but It la prob
able that some action will be taken
soon on a number of other streets on
which the property owners have ob
jected to the pavement.
