He Is surrounded by a posse of determined men, heavily armed, and his death or capture Is expected to be reported at any time. Edsa, the girl who underwent the tragic experience, is at home today, suffering from nervousness and slight bruises, but not seriously in jured in any way. Her feet were badly cut by stones when Bhe was forced to walk over rocky roads her sole garment being the night dress wntcn she wore when dragged from her father's house. Captured in lonely (nyio, Cleve Rogers, the younger kidnap per, who was captured last night by a posse, after being traced to a lone ly mountain cabin, and after using the girl as a shield against bullets from his pursuer's, Is In jail here. Feeling against him does hot run high, as the girl says he offered her no indignity. A pathetic feature of the remarkable case Is the fact that one of the leaders of the posse which captured Rogers was his own father. The old man liad no idea that It was his son whom he was following with a gun, and when he saw the boy col lapsed. The resentment of the community Is directed against Loveall, who Is al leged to have planned the kidnapping and the burning of the outhouses on the Domengtne place.
