It provides that in case of dis-si pule as to quality, samples for test shall be taken from one-fifth of the boxes of fruit: that no allowance for short weight shall he made unless It amounts to more than one per cent, and that In the counting test the size shall Include the seventh prune and not the fifth only, thus, that 47 prunes shall be deemed In the IO-fiO sire and not 4ii only. WEATHER SUMMARY FOR LAST WEEK Following Is the summitry of weather conditions In Oregon for last week, as reported by the Oregon sec tion nf the t'. S. weather bureau: The week on the whole was lltl favorabe on ai-countof the wide range In temperature and the. lack of suf ficient moisture. The temperature In a number of counties was very close to the frost mark on I he morn ings of the 27th and HMti. During the opening and closing nays of the week high teniperatur"8 pieuilled and the winds were moderately strong and very drying. Light rain fell during the middle of the week In a number of counties but none of consequence was re ported III any of the eastern coun ties and the drought In the latter dis trict Is becoming more and more ser ious as the season advances.
