7 TUB EUGE.YE DAILY GXJARH, 'MOXDEY, JUNE SO, 18 CURES ty?ottae'SKIN When the blood is pure and healthy, the skin will be soft, smooth, and free from till blemishes and eruption ; but when some acid humor (akes root in the circulation, its pre.-nce i quickly manifested by some form of skin disease. The skin receives its ecessary nourishment and strength from the blood. When, however, this vital fluid becomes a humor-laden stream, it can no longer preserve the healthy, natural appearance of the skin, but by its acridiinpure nature continually irritates and inflames the delicate tissues and fibres and keeps the cuticle in a diseased and disfigured condition. ExternaJ applications cannot reach the blood, and therefore are beneficial only for their ability to reduce inflammation, and assist in keeping the parts clean. To cure any skin trouble the blood must be purified of the humors that are causing the trouble. S. S. S. drives out the humors from the blood so that the skin, instead of being irritated and diseased, is nourished by a healthy, cooling stream. S. S. S goes down into the circulation and removes every particle of impure matter, all acids and humors, and restores the blood to its normal, pure condition, thereby curing every form of skin disease or affection. ' Brother Paal, who will conduct a protracted meeting at London Sprlngb for an indefinite time, arrived Satur day and preached his first . sermon here Saturday evening. He preached three sermons Sunday and will preach two each day during the week. He is certainly a very able preacher. The 4th of July will soon be here. The people around London are mak ing big preparations to celebrate, so every one come that can and if you can't come to London, go somewhere. Don't fail to celebrate. The chicken coops of Levi Geer were visited the other night and an old hen and nine yoijpg ones came up . missing. Again last night there was disturbance among f'e chickens. When Mr. Geer and Mr. Matton soon arrived on the scene armed with guns and dogs, the culprit was soon brought to bay, and after a desparate encounter was soon overcome when a great sensation occurred (To be continued). Mrs George Hawleyfff .Creswell ar rived here last evening and will spend a few days at the Springs. T. L, Geer started for Idaho to be gone a few days on business. Grandma Carmlchnel who has been quite, sick for a few days,, is about well again. The protracted meeting1 Is progres sing nicely and will probably last two weeks.
