I NOT A PARTICLE SI J Worst Case of Eczema Doctor Had Seen In 40 Years For Six Months Father Expected His Baby to Die Blood Oozed Out All Over Her Body Had to Be Wrapped In Silk and Carried on a Pillow Now She Is Perfectly Cured. DOCTOR RECOMMENDED CUTICURA REMEDIES "My little girl was born two weeks before her lime mid my wife died four Hours aiier tne birth of our child and I had to raiite the baby on arti ficial food. Kix months after birth she broke out and I had two doctors in attendance. There was not a Darticle of skin left on her body, the blood oosed out Jut anywhere, and wo had to wrap her in silk and carry her on a pillow for ten weeks. She was the most terrible sight I ever saw, and for six months 1 looked for her to go to her mama, but thank Ood and his agents, she is alive and well to-day and she will be three years old the seventh of December and has never had a sign of the dread trouble since. "I used every known remedy to alio Tiate her suffering, for it was terrible to witness. Dr. C 6av8 ner UP and then I went to C - F and got Dr. B and he end Cuticura Soap and Cuticura Ointment Baved her. He recommended the Cuticura Remedies, or said we were right In making use of them. As noarly as I can remember, we used eight cakes of Cuticura Soap and three boxes of Cuticura Ointment; but you must take into consideration that hers was an exceptional case, for an old and good doctor said that it was the worst case that had come to him In forty years. I have always hinged on Cuticura Soap to keep her skin soft and to give her a pure complexion. James J. timlth, Wood and Metal Pattern Maker, Ilox 234, Buena Vista, Vs., Oct. 14 and 22, 1U." GUARDSMEN MAY HAVE TWO WEEKS' ENCAMPMENT , If the recommendations of the ad jutant generals of Oregon and Wash ington are carried out, Eugene guardsmen will have two full weeks at American Lake'thls summer In stead of 10 days' encampment that has been ordered. There Is sufficient money this year for a two week's encampment and be lieving that the additional four days will be highly beneficial to the men the head officers of the guards have asked that the time be extended. Whether or not the request will be granted remains to be seen. At present the orders are for the encampment to commence August 3 and for the camp to be broken Aug ust 12. Under this arrangement the Eugene compaqles will leave this city on Saturday, August2, and join the Third regiment In Portland tne fol lowing day. From that city It Is probable that the Third and Fourth regiments and Battery A will leave for American Lake on three special trains.
