HOW EUGENE VOTED ON THE LIQUOR QUESTION The Eugene prectneta gave a ma jority of 276 for prohibition, each precinct going dry by good majori ties except North No. 1, the vote of which waa a tie, 153 each way. South Eugene No. 1, dubbed the "butter milk precinct," gave the largest ma jority for prohibition, aa uaual. North No. 2. usually a wet precinct. went dry.
