Steel, who testified to depos

bank. The defense held that
the officers of the bank were
not individually resHinsible
for the illegal acts of the cor
poration over which they
have charge.
This ruling killed the hope
of the defense to escape a
jury trial.
Willlamsport, Pa.. April 22. Kour
Italian laborers were killed, two fa
tally hurt and eight seriously injur d
by the wrecking of a runaway train
on the Lacqulu Lumber Company's
log road near here. The accident was
