He came to this country from Norwav ahout two years ago and had been working In Ischer Bros, logging camp most of the time since. His parents live In Norway. The on ly relative he has here is a brother. I'eluar, a few years youngr, who, came from Norway a year ago at his, solicitation. Klinrh, on July 3, i 1858. In 184 he, with his small family, moved to Wisconsin, where he located on a farm. Whili m the farm he worked hard until his health failed and he derided to come West, coming directly to Fairmount in 1905, where he remained until two years ago, when he moved to Springfield, where he since lived up to the time of his d-ath. He whf aged 73 years, 1 month and three day.'. The health of the deceased ha been poor for the pa3t several years, hut h had been confined t his bed hut two days at the tlm of his dath. On the llth dav hf P-n-temher, 1906, as he was doing some shopping, he was taken suddenly III with a very bad stroke of paralvsl "f the right side which he recovered from. The second stroke happened June 10th, 1907, which was the same sid and from which he soon recov ered so he was able to be about. Last Thursday, March 19, he was taker with the third stroke, this time being on the right side, which resulted In his death Saturday noon. After th? last stroke he did not regain con sciousness, but seemed to suffer great nnin. He leave? an aged wife itnd eight children. Four sons and one daughter reside in Soringfield and the other three children, two ?ons and ene daughter st'.U remain In the cn:itQrn s;p.'m. H was a good husband, father p."d neighbor.
