In a very exciting game the boys
of tbe Salem high school snatched a
victory from a seeming defeat Sat
urday night. KuKene started the
scoring and marked up nine points
before Salom marred the tally aneet.
At the end of the first half the score
was twelve to nine in favor of Eu
gene. The second half was even fas
ter than the first. With but five
minute to play and the score 19 to
19, Salem took a derided brace and
scored five field goals in rapid mic
coHHton. The final score waa 2 9 to
Vi in Hulcm's favor.
KuKcno played good ball during
the entire game and it was only 8a
lem's terrific finish that caused their
defeat. They are a clean Hot of play

court, through her attorney, C. A.
Wintermeler, a complaint, asking for
a divorce from her husband, William
H. Bainbridge. She alleges that they
were married In Rock county (now
Brown county) Nebraska, on March
I, 1S8B, and have the following ral-
inor children: John James, agea iv
years; Fannie Elisabeth, 17; Mag
gie Mary, 15; Myron Henry, 11; So
phia Eliza, 9; Florence Nellie. 6,'and
Frank la Raymond, 19 months. Mrs.
Bainbridge alleges that on April 20,
1906, her 'husband wilfully and with
out cause or provocation deserted her
and has since failed and neglected to
contribute anything for her support
or for the support of the children;
that since that time she has been
compelled to work to support herself
and some of the children.
She asks for the custody of the
'children and for $10 a month nll
' mony, besides $25 for her expenses
in the suit.
