This week J. . Baker, of Ashland, brother of the Koseburg laundrymaii, spent sevoiai Jays In the city making final arrange ments for tho establishment of a steam laundry here. After looking over the city he finally decided on the I. O. O. F. building, formerly occu pied by the Pacific Timber Company s store as abuul as conveniently arrang ed and centrally located place as he could rent for the purpose and ac cordingly secured a lease on the oulldlng and the residence adjoining for a number of years, in which to install the laundry and move his household goods. The plant will be operated by a five-horsepower electric motor, and is guaranteed to turn out first-class work at reasonable prices.
