Tho Houthnrn Pacific brldgo across
the McKonzIo river near Coburg has
been entirely completed and tho crew
and outfit were In Eugene today ,on
their way to Portland. The Eugeno
Coburg train brought tho work cars
and other puraphernalia over to the
main line and the first freight
train going north took them on to
ward Portland. The bridge Is a
splendid structure and replaced an
old wooden one that did service (or
many years. When the recdnt finan
cial flurry came on the company or
dered work on tho bridge stopped,
nlong with tho curtailment of a great
deal of other work, but In a week or
two afterward the crew was ordered
back to finish the bridge, as it was
very near completion.
