No one was serious, ly hurt, although Klreman McCiil-; lough suffered severe cuts on his right hand. Both the engineer and fireman jumped before the locomo-; live turned over. The locomotive, whose number la 21 mi, was pulling a caboose and was nn the way to Wendllug after a num ber of cars of lumber. As It reached a point ni'ar Yaniell station some thing went wrong, with the result a stated. The Kuneno-Weiidiltig local pas-si-nger tram was at thi- WVndliug end of the line at t.i'- time of the wreck, ' and it was unable to make Its run to this city. An extra train was sent up frjm Albany to transfer the pas sengers for this city and Springfield. . A crew of men was put to work , this morning to repair the. track and; right the engine, but up to a late; hour this afternoon the train had not been uble to pass the wreck.
