A comet with a fiery tail may be seen In the eastern heav ens from 3 o'clock until daybreak. This marvel of the starry canopy may lie plainly discerned by any beholder. There Is but one tall to this comet, and that, as is the case with all such well-behaved heavenly voyagers. Is turned from the sun. The length of the comet anil Its tall seems to be about that distance which lies be tween the two end stars of the bowl of the great d ipper. The comet Is not one that comes In sight of the earth at regular Inter vals, but Is what Is known as a wan derer, coming within the range of earthly vision once and wandering off Into the universe never to return. tn A. 3 T o rt-1 A ' . Land cruisers' estimate books fort gulwrilMTtor ihe n.iLV (ilAHU j.ale at the Guard of fir. j JusL a word to those who wish to invest in Land IX the first place, we ask the question why people buy cheap land when, from every point of view, good land Is much more profitable? For Instance, poor land which cannot bo worked at a profit. You can't pay for It In a hundred years. But on the other hand. If you buy good land that you ran work at a profit, It will eventually pay for Itself, whatever the price may be; and again, good land Is much easier worked. If you want to raise stock, good land Is the cheapest. If 'nil wunt to ruise grain, good land la the cheapest. If you want to raise fruit or veget ables, good land la tho cheap est. Why? Because It takes no more to plow It: because It takes no more to harvest It. So It Is clear to see that If It pays to work poor land, It sure ly pays to work good land. So when you buy, buy good land, and then if you snould want to sell It, you have no trouble In disposing of It. So if you want good land at the right price, come and see us.
