Rich Men
Nearly all started in life poor. The
stories of their beginnings read
much the same.
They laid the foundations of their
fortunes by systematic saving
in a modest wav, gradually
building a bank account by a
dogged diteimination to get
ahead, until it reached such
proportions that they could in
vest it to advantage when the
oppor unity arrived.
We cannot all be rich but there is a
reasonable chance for everyone
to enjoy a moderate degree of
financial success if the saving
habit is cultivated. The secret
is in spending less than you
earn and in placing the surplus
where it will draw interest.
