Mexico is about ten times larger than (ireat llrltain. The rainy season generally lasts .f.-oin May to September. Mexico is the richest mineral coun try lu the world, not excepting Peru. It is said that no country in the world shows so great a variety of plant life us Mexico. Which is the better weapon, an ax or a bowie knife? Wo are civilizing those Filipinos with a vengeance nine huiidrfd were killed or wounded during the lour days' lighting last week. Wo keep the Chinamen, out but are over there right next China lighting I lie Asiatics and killing them. A very Christian nation, truly I The great central Hg lire of our religion commanded his dlsaiples to go into all tho world and preach his gospel. His latter day dis ciples go forth and kill. To say the least It lacks conscience that sense of right that Impelled tho signers of the Declaration of Independence to rink their necks on the statement that this country three thousand miles away from England had tho right to bo free and liidcp;ndont. And yet their descendants would hold an alien people ,oven thousand miles from our allures in u latitude unsuitable for the white race, as subjects.
