January 9, 1902 at 6 p m, after a linge
log iilnear, aged 55 year, 10 months
and 7 days.
Estln r Walker was born in Monroe
county, Iowa, Match 2. 184C. She
crossed tbe plains to Oregon with
her pareiiti , A M and Mary Walker in
1S52 and lived with them until Au
gust 4, 1662, at wblcb time she waa
uiarriud to W H Entail, aow justice
of tbe peace and ferryman at Jasper.
Had Mra Eaton lived until tbe 14th of
next month, slia would have bten
married it yeais. For tbe past 25
j-ei.ra Mra Eaton baa been a resident nf
Lane couuly and was highly re
speeted by a l who knew her. Da
teased was the mother f twelv chil
dren, seven oi wboau are still living
and were all at her beaslde except ne
eaughtsr who was siek. Bli left
twelv graadchildren. For a period
of 42 years eh bad been a faithful
member of the V T and Christian
ehurohe, Bbe waa a kind aaother and
a loving wife.
The funeral took place today at 11
o'clock at Pleasant Hill, conducted by
Rev It U Calliaon, with interment in
the Pleasant Hill eemetery.
