Eugene merchant are evidently en joying an era of prosperity. Several have enlarged their places of business during the auuimer and others are contemplating enlarging and otherwise making extensive Improvements. George T Hall A boo, the grocers, were among the flrtt to Inaugurate these Improvements. A two-story brick addition was built onto their atore so that It now faeeson two streets, Park and Willamette, giving them much more room for tbeir large stock of goods. They occupy the basement and the other two floors of the new addition.' Hampton Bros were next to expand. A new addition was built onto the rear of Mrs Bauach's building and the par tition taken out, making one big room.
