Kauuders, formerly of Cor. vallls, wbo shot and Kliieu nin Campbell at Albany about nrieeu years ago, is now a prosperous lawyer at Spokane. It was an unusual appeal, and the Magistrate said: "Your' testimony is sutticleut to acquit him, and it is al that is in bis favor. By tbe way, Mr. Saunders, where did yon know nim?"
