Tbe books bad been care lessly kept, and were in apparently hopeless muddie. Mr Milliorn com menced with the "blotter," carried tbe accounts through to the ledger, made out bills therefrom, took notes and collected the money due Mr. Howard, and within thirty days bad tbe creditors satisfied in full.
